Responsibilities:
Responsible to Aircraft Systems authority to provide support to RSAF officers and on matter of RSAF Airforce Systems Directorate cross RSAF Tornado platform, and related systems and weapons. As a Project Coordinator, you will be Responsible for day-to-day management of project elements and sub-projects, related aircrafts developments project, controls and reviews within Air force Systems Directorate. Enhance RSAF's strategic views regarding the RSAF Airforce Systems in the emerging new capability, the compatibility between RSAF platforms and comparing between available options. Create statement of requirement (SOR) Statement of work (SOW) and engineering plans for the procurement and modification of aircraft systems. Ability to negotiate contacts; reviews bids and attends meetings with RSAF, non-RSAF and other agency representative to share information and coordinate information systems activities. Co-ordinate and manage activities on assigned project elements and sub-projects to ensure delivery to plan, monitor performance against plan and take action to ensure issues and problems are addressed in an effective and timely manner. Establish collate and integrate various targets and plans to ensure assigned project elements and sub-projects can be delivered on RSAF requirements. Apply scheduling techniques to ensure projects meet key dates and objectives. Support the relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure all contracts are delivered and that issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Addressing the data needed by RSAF systems and to set strategic plans for unifying system data interface design and requirements for all RSAF cross platforms. Participate in acceptance testing of RSAF systems and support equipment and another of project events such as (PDR, CDR, PMR, FAT, SAT and Integration events). Evaluate and perform cost benefits analysis of improvement initiatives. Prepare researches, technical reports and comparisons reports for the new technologies in weapon systems, simulation devices, and missions planning systems, aircrafts systems, and navigation systems to enhance RSAF systems. Follow-up in the projects management processes regarding the projects and contracts with the related companies under Directorate of Airforce Systems.
Job Requirements:
The jobholder must hold a bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Aviation science or related field from an accredited college (USA and UK university are strongly recommended). The candidate must be Saudi National. The jobholder must have a 3 years’ experience in RSAF systems and a proven experience working on RSAF Airforce Systems Directorate is strongly recommended. Good knowledge of Tornado platform, development program and related systems and weapons. Knowledge of RSAF Fighter platforms, Training platforms, F 15 platforms and UAVts platforms and weapon systems. Knowledge of EW systems and mission data set. Able to identify, assess, analyze and manage risk and opportunities. Expert in the tools and techniques of project management. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards. Excellent writing and Fluent in English (reading, and speaking). Computer literate and experience in MS-Office suite and specialized applications. Dedication in a busy environment, and ability to meet and exceed set targets. Self-motivation: discipline to develop and improve own skills and performance. Demonstrates own initiative in tackling technical issues with problem solving skills. Works comfortably in a team, creating good working relationships to gain the trust of RSAF officers and engineers.
