Tender Lead

The position is based in our affiliate in Riyadh and reports directly to the KAM Head.

The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for the tender management in terms of planning, tendering, submission, and award monitoring with key procurement bodies and oversee all distributor related activities.

You will carry out the following tasks:

• Prepare and update the KSA tender calendar, analyze tender documents, define strategies, and submit offers in collaboration with distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee distributor processes, including selection, performance evaluation, contract management, and logistics coordination, while organizing regular review meetings.
• Prepare and submit quotations, follow up to secure purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery in alignment with stakeholder requirements.
• Act in alignment with company values, ethical standards, and policies to ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
• Submit accurate daily and monthly reports, including pre-call analyses, stakeholder coordination, action plan tracking, and tender performance insights.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• Degree in pharmacy, health economics or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a key account management, market access, sales management position within pharma industry
• Experience in managing tender and key customers in the public sector is preferred
• Rich experience in the Saudi pharmaceutical market, and key customers in the region
• Good communication and ability to convince external or internal customers, including negotiation, with fluency in English language.
• Fluency in writing and speaking English.

The function covers pricing activities, key account management for private, Field market access, and public affairs.
