Job Requirements:-
The candidate primary role will be responsible for leading the technology function collaborating across capital projects. This role involves support the development and deployment of technology management programs aimed at providing technical support across LTC portfolio. The candidate will drive innovation and excellence in our Project Management functions and will be responsible for evaluating and selecting emerging technologies to enhance project delivery. The candidate will develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Collaboration with Joint Venture partners, vendors, and internal teams is crucial to this role. A strong understanding of digital solutions for project management, such as data analytics and IoT, is required. Experience in construction sequencing and field operations is essential to inform technology decisions. A high‐level academic qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline is necessary. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills to coordinate workshops and demonstrations of new technologies. As a key leader, candidate will work closely with cross‐functional teams to identify opportunities for technological advancements. With a strong educational background and industry expertise, will champion innovative solutions that optimize project outcomes and contribute to the company's success in the Energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
• Engage with different client’s organizations, as well as business and engineering stakeholders to identify, evaluate, develop, support and execute technology deployment in order to maximize technology value realization.
• Lead the end‐to‐end implementation of execution technologies across multiple programs.
• Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps that add value and align with
business challenges.
• Accelerate technology deployment by collaborating closely with internal and
external stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies including technical and economic evaluation of
solutions, platforms and new technologies.
• Perform technology scouting to identify innovative and value‐added technologies.
• Develop business case and cost/benefit analysis for technologies deployment.
• Collaborate with other consultants, engineers, and project managers to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the progress and benefits of technology initiatives to peers, relevant stakeholders and senior management.
• Work with technology providers to develop and conduct tailored training content and programs to support the implementation and adoption of technologies by end‐ users.
• Stay updated on global and regional hydrocarbon industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes that may impact technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and standards, and evaluating
solution implementations, identify and introduce necessary changes to standards and governance.
• Provide technical leadership and consultancy‐level support to technology design, development and execution or operational teams.
• Facilitate Workshops for the Technology Evaluation and Selection as well as
preparing high level technical reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. A Masters’ degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience as a Technology Coordinator / Consultant ideating,
scouting, introducing and tracking value added technology deployment within large‐ scale industrial or construction projects.
- Good understanding of Construction sequence for Industrial Projects, best
practices and latest construction technologies.
- Experience in developing business case and benefit/cost analysis for downstream technology.
- Experience in working collaboratively in cross‐functional teams, across the project lifecycle fostering effective communication and cooperation.
- Able to demonstrate excellent understanding of management of change,
engineering and design package as well as regulatory, risk mitigation and safety requirements.
- Experience in change management, including developing and implementing
technology changes.
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of relevant industry energy, safety and design regulations and standards ensuring compliance of proposed technology solutions.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent understanding of execution technology solutions enabling projects conceptualization, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning but also key areas such as environmental, safety and sustainability,
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology implementation in capital projects.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross‐functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
