We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Director to be based in either Riyadh or Dammam to work on a major development, a giga project in KSA The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of various projects within our portfolio. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of mixed-use hospitality, high-end residential assets, infrastructure, commercial spaces, and recreational facilities projects worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Planning and Strategy: Lead the development of technical strategies and project plans in alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.


  • Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical guidance and oversight throughout all project phases, including design, construction, and commissioning, to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.


  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals and deliverables within established timelines and budgets.


  • Client Management: Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates on project progress, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and liabilities.


  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Implement rigorous QA/QC processes to maintain the highest standards of technical excellence and ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.


  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in project management and engineering, and champion innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.


  • Budget and Resource Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional licensure or certification preferred.


  • Minimum 20+ years of experience in project management and technical leadership roles within the luxury hospitality, high-end residential, infrastructure, or commercial real estate sectors.


  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.


  • Strong technical expertise in architecture, engineering, construction, and building systems.


  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.


  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
