As an Entry-Level to Mid-Level Data Governance Practitioner, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon Data Governance. Your day-to-day activities will include analyzing data, creating data policies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data governance best practices are followed.


Roles & Responsibilities


Responsibilities Include:


  • Project Leadership:


    • Lead and oversee large-scale technology delivery projects for telecommunications providers, from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.


    • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.


    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.


    • Manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively.


  • Industry Expertise:


    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, staying informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.


    • Indepth understanding of a telecom operator IT landscape


  • Client Management:


    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.


    • Deeply understand client needs and translate them into actionable project plans that deliver measurable results.


    • Proactively manage expectations, communicate effectively, and resolve issues with diplomacy.


  • Team Leadership:


    • Build and nurture a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that empowers excellence.


    • Provide mentorship and guidance, developing future leaders within the team.


    • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging skill development and knowledge sharing.


  • Operational Excellence:


    • Optimize resource allocation within a mixed onshore and offshore delivery model for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


    • Implement robust project management methodologies and tools to ensure transparency, accountability, and control.


    • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline project delivery and enhance outcomes.


  • Capability Building:


    • Contribute to the development of team capabilities by mentoring and providing guidance to team members.


    • Participate in the hiring process to build a high-performing and skilled team.


  • Sales Support and Solutioning:


    • Support new sales initiatives by providing technical expertise during client interactions.


    • Contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP) solutioning, ensuring proposed solutions align with client needs and industry best practices.


  • Continuous Improvement:


    • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.


    • Stay abreast of industry advancements to incorporate innovative approaches into project delivery.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience leading and delivering complex technology projects, preferably within the telecommunications industry.


  • Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, trends, and regulatory frameworks.


  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.


  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, connecting effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.


  • Strong track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships at the executive level.


  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.


  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and excels under pressure.
