The Systems Design Manager will be responsible for the design of Smart City systems and solutions, and ensuring they meet business requirements, technical standards, and best practices.The Systems Design Manager will also develop detailed BOQs, cost estimates and project timelines for IT-related projects.Candidates must have experience working on system design for large, complex Smart City, Real Estate and Property sector projects.Client DetailsOur client is one of the iconic Vision 2030 mega projects.This role will be based in Riyadh.DescriptionThe Systems Design Manager will be responsible for:Reviewing and evaluating IT systems design for Smart City systems and solutions such as lighting control, access control, fire/security systems, public address systems, etc.Ensuring that designs adhere to organisation standardsDocumenting system design and use casesDeveloping detailed BOQs and cost estimationWorking closely with other functions within the Technology departmentIdentifying any risks in system designDefining policies, procedures and processes for system design; continuously improving processes and standards for designManaging a team of design reviewers and engineersRegular progress reportsProfileThe Systems Design Manager will be/have:At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study10+ years of experience in IT architecture or systems design, specifically within Real Estate and Property sectorExpertise in Smart City, ELV and IoT systems such as Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm System, Public Address (PA) System, Lighting Control, etc.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, network architecture, and software development processesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independentlyBased in/willing to relocate to RiyadhJob OfferAn attractive salary along with family benefits will be on offer for the Systems Design Manager.
