Overview of the role:
Supply & Inventory planner is part of inventory control team in Global Aftersales for Al Futtaim Automotive. The team is responsible for balancing the inventory cost with service level as per business recommendation. Currently the team is responsible for managing stock of around 100 MUSD in KSA.
Supply & Inventory planner is responsible for purchasing of inventory parts from respective vendors for Global aftersales division. This is achieved by periodic release of purchase orders to assigned vendors based on the sales trend, forecast, market information and business recommendations. The purpose of the role is to improve the stock turnover by reducing the risk of excess & Obsolete stock.
What you will do:
Required Skills to be successful:
• Demonstrated experience developing management reporting packs and presenting to senior leadership.
• Skilled in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies
• Understanding of agile way of working
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/MS Projects)
• Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems & Supply chain modules in other ERP systems like SAP
