Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems for various building projects, including high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, and residential developments
- Develop detailed structural plans, specifications, and calculations in accordance with local building codes and standards
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of structural designs
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters
- Prepare project progress reports and communicate updates to project managers and clients
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and construction issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in structural engineering
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance of all structural designs and calculations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in building design and construction
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Strong knowledge of structural design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE
- Experience with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to relocate to Makkah, Saudi Arabia for the duration of the contract
