Job Description:

We are seeking for Strategy Consultants to work with a leading bank to review and refine its strategic direction. The successful candidates will bring a wealth of experience in strategy development, market research, and stakeholder engagement, particularly within the banking or financial services sector. This role will require you to collaborate with senior leadership, drive the development of strategic initiatives, and ensure successful execution of strategic plans.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis:


  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the bank’s current strategy, business model, and performance metrics.
  • Perform in-depth market research, industry benchmarking, and competitive analysis to understand the bank’s competitive positioning.
  • Identify and evaluate internal and external factors affecting the bank’s long-term success and sustainability.

Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Work closely with senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders to gather input and align on strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops, strategy discussions, and meetings to build a shared vision and common goals across the organization.
  • Develop consensus around key strategic initiatives and objectives.

Strategy Development:


  • Formulate a refreshed, actionable strategy that addresses both short-term goals and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Define strategic initiatives, objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with the bank’s vision.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance the bank's competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Implementation Roadmap:


  • Create a detailed and executable implementation plan with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Identify potential risks to strategy execution and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.
  • Work with various departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of strategic initiatives.

Reporting and Documentation:


  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation summarizing findings, strategic recommendations, and progress.
  • Ensure that all deliverables are in line with the bank’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on the status of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.

Professional Experience:


  • 5-10 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar strategic role.
  • Strong background in banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:


  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Expertise in strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT Analysis, Balanced Scorecard, Porter’s Five Forces, etc.).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.) and ability to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
