Job Context:The role of the "Strategy and Business Development Director" will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, identifying new business opportunities, driving long-term growth, and leading transformation projects that enhance operational efficiency and organizational change. Key responsibilities in this role include:


Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve long-term goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to identify growth opportunities in the construction industry.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and ventures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government entities.
  • Lead negotiations and manage contracts for new projects, ensuring profitability and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive organizational change.
  • Expand into new markets within Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to position the company as a leader in the industry.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Lead and mentor the business development team, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with external stakeholders.
  • Communicate the company’s vision, strategy, and goals to internal and external audiences.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to enhance business development efforts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in business development, strategy, and transformation within the construction industry.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Experience in the Saudi Arabian or GCC construction market.
  • Experience in managing turnaround projects in the construction industry highly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams through significant changes.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in both verbal and written forms.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities to devise effective transformation strategies.
  • Deep understanding of change management principles and their application.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle contracts and agreements.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with corporate governance.
