Strategic Manager/Chief of Staff

Job Aspect: To work closely with the Managing Director to oversee the implementation and execution of the regional strategy. This is a multifaceted and dynamic position that will leverage a mix of strategy and project management to maximize strategic outcomes in the location.

• Work closely with the Managing Director to execute and continuously refine integrated strategy
• Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, demand signals, and risks
• Conduct and translate market research into actionable recommendations to guide strategic planning and decision-making
• Support the Managing Director and other location leadership to define strategic objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor progress against strategic objectives and provide regular updates to location leadership
• Prepare and disseminate internal and external reports and presentations to communicate progress against the regional strategy
• Coordinate across Newlab KSA teams and programs to ensure alignment and integration of strategies across the organization and identify areas for internal collaboration that will maximize strategic outcomes, leading or overseeing pilot initiatives
• Collaborate with Strategy counterparts across Newlab’s global locations to identify synergies and opportunities for strategic collaboration that will compound outcomes
• Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives
• Serve as a critical liaison with internal and external stakeholders to advance and communicate key programs and partnerships

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.Experience:5 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or a related role, preferably within the GCC region.
Language: Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.Must be comfortable doing business in English.

• Experience working in a multinational corporation or a large local enterprise in Saudi Arabia.
• Familiarity with the latest strategic management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Saudi regulations and corporate governance standards.

Working Conditions

• This role may require travel within Saudi Arabia and occasionally internationally.
• The position is based in Riyadh, with typical working hours in alignment with local business practices.
