A Strategic Business Development Analyst is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, analyzing market trends, and developing strategic initiatives to drive business expansion. This role involves close collaboration with different stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations that support the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive
landscape.
• Analyze industry data to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Gather and analyze data on potential acquisition targets and market opportunities.
2. Financial Analysis & Feasibility Study:
• Analyze financial statements and company fundamentals to assess potential deals.
• Build financial models to evaluate the financial impact of M&A , Capital Increase,
Machinery & Equipment, etc.
• Conduct valuation analysis using various methodologies such as discounted cash flow
(DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
3. Due Diligence:
• Perform due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including financial, operational,
and strategic assessments.
• Identify risks and opportunities associated with potential deals.
4. Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth.
• Conduct SWOT analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to
support the M&A process.
• Coordinate with external advisors, such as investment banks and consultants.
