The Store Keeper role is pivotal in managing store operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining accurate stock records.


Key Accountabilities

The position involves:


  • Oversee daily store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing products. Ensure all inventory is accurately logged and stored for easy accessibility.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics ERP for managing inventory levels, updating stock movements, and generating reports. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to maintain accurate data in the system.
  • Conduct regular stock audits, monitor inventory levels, and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages. Implement stock control measures to reduce wastage and loss.
  • Manage order processing, coordinate with sales and logistics teams, and ensure timely product dispatch. Verify product availability and prepare items for delivery as required.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all stock transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns, ensuring easy reference and compliance with company policies.
  • Organize the storage area efficiently to maximize space while maintaining safety standards. Implement best practices in inventory storage, such as FIFO.
  • Ensure store operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and local guidelines. Maintain an organized and secure storage environment.
  • Prepare regular stock status reports, highlight discrepancies, and provide recommendations to optimize inventory processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the retail sector. Experience in the sanitary ware or lighting industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP system is essential. Ability to manage inventory and generate reports within the ERP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock auditing, and warehouse management practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple store operations efficiently.
  • High accuracy in documentation and record-keeping. Ability to identify discrepancies and take corrective action.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with team members and suppliers.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and implement solutions to enhance store operations.
