General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Following up with the designer for the design NOCs, and Design Drawings
- Coordinate the required meetings between client and designer as well as the authorities.
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, budgets and expenditures for the projects in the design stage.
- Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings for the construction projects.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Following up with the project parties related to any critical subjects.
- Determining project changes and high-level impacts.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks and develop required strategies as required (Low).
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Work with the Senior Program Management Team to eliminate blockers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Knowledgeable of all stakeholders involved in mega project
- Candidate should address the priority and time frame of engagement of stakeholder based on design development phases.
- Develop schedule for authorities' involvement
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience related to project coordination with exposure to government projects; OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Experience working on large, heavy civil projects is preferred.
- Must have excellent experience dealing with and understand all types of government contracts and procedures.
- Project management techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with engineering & building construction
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible in work performance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
