Job Purpose

Oversee and control all developments within the Vendor Portal Solution. Focuses on enhancing vendor relations, improving vendor qualification processes, and optimizing supply chain workflows. Be the key liaison between the Vendor Management and IT teams, ensuring that portal enhancements align with organizational goals and improve operational efficiency.




Key Accountability Areas

Vendor Portal Oversight: 


  • Manage and monitor all enhancements to the Vendor Portal Solution, ensuring they meet business requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding vendor portal developments.

Process Improvement: 


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps in current vendor-related workflows and propose improvements.
  • Develop efficient processes for vendor qualification, evaluation, and onboarding within the portal.

Cross-Functional Coordination: 


  • Work closely with IT, procurement, and supply chain teams to align vendor portal functionality with organizational needs.
  • Facilitate integration of the portal with ERP systems and other tools.

Quality Assurance: 


  • Conduct testing and validation of new features and functionalities before deployment.
  • Ensure the portal meets compliance, security, and operational standards.

Training and Support: 


  • Provide training to internal teams and end-users on portal features and workflows.
  • Offer ongoing support and resolve issues related to the portal's performance or functionality.

Data Analysis and Reporting: 


  • Analyze vendor data and system metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Generate reports on vendor performance, compliance, and portal utilization.

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:


  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:


  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:


  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:


  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.


Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Any relevant field
