Sr. Software Test Engineer - Banking (Murex & T24 Treasury Systems)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer with a strong background in the banking sector, specifically with experience in Murex and T24 Treasury systems, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment within the banking industry.

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, with specific expertise in the banking or financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience working with Murex Treasury systems and T24 Core Banking solutions.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is highly preferred.

• Test Plan & Case Development:
  Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for banking applications, focusing on Murex and T24 Treasury systems as well as other key banking products, particularly loans.
• Collaboration & Requirements Analysis:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications related to Murex, T24, and other banking software systems.
• Functional, Regression & Integration Testing:
  Perform functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of banking applications, particularly in the context of Murex and T24 systems.
• Defect Management:
  Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate defect-tracking tools. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Compliance & Industry Best Practices:
  Ensure testing processes comply with industry standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality testing and a seamless implementation of banking solutions.
• Code Reviews & Continuous Improvement:
  Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to improve software quality. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team to enhance overall testing efficiency.
