- Actively lead, participate, and support all Air Products Qudra safety programs, safe work practices, good housekeeping, and environmental compliance. Responsible to ensure all the EH&S standards/procedures are followed along with best industrial practice throughout the life cycle of projects. Lead Safety Meetings and Toolbox discussions including participating in Safe Work Permitting Process with Operations team and Safe Work Audits.
- Prepare/review the KPIs for quality compliance for all the projects under Air Products Qudra. Review the Quality plan along with other discipline leads and ensure all the required formats / ITPs / QPs are reviewed and approved from authorized parties.
- Ensuring that Engineering Standards, Engineering Procedures and Work Instructions are understood, followed consistently.
- Develop and update execution strategy in support of project execution plan and schedule for all phase of the project to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders have adequate opportunity to provide input, comments, endorsements, and approvals.
- Minimize risks through early identification, planning, and selection of best possible contracting strategies and proactive Project Management practices which focus on prevention of problems.
- Monitor the progressive cost of the project against approved budgets. Identify potential problems with same and make mitigating recommendations.
- Ability to articulate the definition of project scope, milestones, goals, and deliverables. Manage technical projects, utilizing established project tools and methodologies.
- Manage and monitor project budget and procurement requirements.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools, manage, mitigate, and report project risks and issues to Project Management team. Facilitate efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the project's goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks, or complications.
- Managing the following tasks: multi-functional team coordination, benefit/cost analysis, vendors’ evaluation & selection, schedule and budget oversight, management of consultants/contractors, issue resolution, reporting and closeout of project upon completion.
- Monitor construction site activities in close coordination with construction site team, including proper planning of quality inspections, resolution of technical queries in a timely manner.
- Review and support for the work package preparation for all the major subcontracts /vendors and review the bids technically and provide recommendation for the selection of right subcontractors/vendors.
- Support the planning team to oversee, implement, maintain, and support the continued development of enterprise management tools such as Primavera P6, MS project etc. and contract management tools.
- Define all the deliverables and KPI for the various subcontractors and vendors and monitor during execution phase and addressing the gaps on right time in order to avoid any impact on the cost and schedule on overall plan of Turnarounds.
- Review the Subcontractors/vendors the final close out reports and prepare the overall project close out report along with lessons learnt and providing the recommendation for upcoming projects.
- The basic function of this role is to supervise, oversee the execution, and coordinate the entire work scope of the projects. Responsible to ensure that Management of Change requirements are in place for all projects & any changes, modifications or upgrades are documented and approved prior to implementation. Review Field Change Orders (FCO’s) for additional work and forward to approving authorities for approval.
- Complete Material Takeoffs for requisitioning/purchasing purposes, includes field verification.
- Providing leadership and direction to the Jr Project Engineers for the execution of their projects.
