Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Responsible for delivering engineering designs and documentation in line with project specifications and standards. Ensures technical procurement, participates in design reviews, resolves production issues, and oversees the preparation of As-Built drawings. Maintains document accuracy and compliance, while enforcing safety standards and collaborating with senior engineers.

Key Accountability Areas

Principal Duties and Deliverables:

• Define and manage the key responsibilities of the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and project deliverables.

  
  

Design and Documentation:

• Translate input data, specifications, and sketches into detailed engineering designs and drawings, ensuring adherence to project requirements.

  
  

• Prepare and maintain all necessary engineering documents, including configuration drawings, software, and planning materials, ensuring they meet applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

  
  

• Select equipment in compliance with relevant specifications and standards.

  
  

Design Implementation and Compliance:

• Participate in design reviews and ensure designs comply with contractual standards and base design requirements established by senior engineers.

  
  

• Analyze, implement, and integrate design requirements while adhering to project goals.

  
  

• Develop system-specific drawings that comply with all relevant codes and standards.

  
  

Collaboration and Procurement:

• Coordinate with senior design engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs across departments.

  
  

• Issue technical purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities in compliance with purchasing procedures.

  
  

Technical Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:

• Address technical issues during production and collaborate with QC/Testing teams to resolve design-related queries.

  
  

As-Built Documentation and Supervision:

• Oversee the preparation of As-Built drawings post-commissioning of panels at the project site.

  
  

Document Management and Safety Compliance:

• Manage and maintain all design-related documents, ensuring their accuracy, accessibility, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

  
  

• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and compliance with safety standards in design and project execution.

  
  

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:

• Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
