JOB TITLE: Sr. Analyst, Pricing, F&M, APC SPE
LOCATION: Greater China Job Purpose:
The Pricing Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring that our sales transactions within each business unit are as profitable as possible. Pricing Analysts are accountable for supporting the Sales functions across the Specialties SBU and helping to drive pricing decisions that ensure profitability. This position will drive pricing excellence in the business and review and analyze pricing and profitability trends for various customers / pricing segments, driving root cause corrective actions where needed. This role will further support the development of innovative approaches to addressing pricing challenges, support the deployment of globally integrated pricing processes and systems as well as the implementation of Value based Price Guidelines for the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Support PAC Pricing Leader on pricing decisions to maximize margin align with Specialties Value Culture
- Collaborate with cross-function business partners including Business Management/ EBS/SCM/Legal on profitability analysis through diversify methodologies like outlier tracking, micro-segmentation analysis and market trends.
- Monitor pricing trend and identify profit improvement opportunities in line with value creation culture.
Maintain Global Pricing Approval system (GPP) use and provide training to field team Create partnership with other Sr. Pricing Analyst to ensure regional consistency Accountable for customer specify pricing actions including price increase, contract/agreement with region/product assigned. Manage APAC business opportunities system. Set opportunity management process, and drive data accuracy by govern commercials' data input with business development process and rules. Training - APAC Commercial competence enhancement. - "Value Selling" … Design training based on Commercial Value selling best cases, collabrate Corp. HR to embedded training content in l learning center to conduct training course on line - "CRM-Siebel" … Design training and deliver training session to APAC commercial team on how to use CRM system to manage business opportunity
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Finance, Economics, Accounting),or 5 years of related industry experience. 5-8 Years in pricing or other process control/ problem solving role like customer service/ sales analyst /marketing analyst. Strong communication skills, fluent at English. Able to operate in a highly-matrixed environment, communicate with all levels of the organization and customers, influence and gain commitment Good analytical and financial skills with a quantitative approach to problem solving In depth knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet modelling SAP or other ERP experience
