Job Role:
Receiving and issuing of spare parts, tools, equipment’s, etc. In accordance with the laid down policies and procedures. Ensures that records and regularly updated and properly maintained. Maintain orderly storage areas and accurate records, and purchase required parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
• Under minimal supervision maintains the proper inventory of spare parts and materials as determined by the responsible departments.
• Ensures that all parts catalogues are up to date and available for use.
• Maintains all required records for materials/parts orders and receipts.
• Notifies concerned personnel of the arrival of priority items.
• Receives all spare parts for the plant.
• Prepares items for export repair work.
• Trains junior storekeeper personnel in their duties.
• Provides the maintenance supervisor with his subordinate’s initial performance evaluation for the report period.
• Maintains all spare parts in a well-organized, clearly marked condition.
• Ensures that his work areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner.
• Understands and follows all plant safety, work, and attendance rules
Preferred Candidate:
• Minimum 3+ years of Spare Parts procurement
• Understanding how to manage and organize the spare parts store.
• Understanding how to manage the movement and to control the stocks.
• Understanding how to provide details of spare parts and catalogues to concern department.
• Understanding how to secure our stock to meet the plant requirements.
• Record all shipments of SP in the CMMS system.
• Ensure the proper reception of parts.
• Ensure the proper storage of parts and the management of locations.
• Ensure the proper delivery / transfer of parts.
• Establish spare part purchasing request to recomplete the stock.
