Industrial and Consumer IoT and Edge AI, are huge potential growth areas as we expand our portfolio of products and solutions for Oil & Gas companies, in particular with Aramco, industrial networks, smart cities, mart factories, data centres and cloud, and more. About you and your responsibilities
- Expert in Connectivity area, BT, Wi-Fi, Cellular 4G/5G, 450Mhz.
- Advise/Debug/Trouble shoot connectivity related items. Both in terms of coming up with an architecture that can scaled and deployed
- Provide expertise to local Aramco engineers in these areas
- Leverages advanced Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate critical embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.
- Analyses user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize sophisticated software for optimal operational efficiency.
- Designs and implements software sub-systems for complex, large-scale products and systems.
- Leads design, coding, and testing efforts to ensure that projects are completed to specifications and schedules.
- Performs highly complex code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.
- Collaborates with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to increase leverage and design solutions that work with other components of a specific project.
- Writes detailed technical documentation for highly complex Software projects; reviews technical documentation for junior engineers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven track record in wireless communication systems, including 5G/4G, Wi-Fi, and spectrum across bands including 450 MHz.
- Deep understanding of Qualcomm products and technologies roadmap.
- Ability to partners with Qualcomm engineers to address complex wireless problems.
- Strong understanding of RF systems, protocols, and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in the connectivity domain in the areas of 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, BT, Satellite, and other wireless technologies58.
- Experience with cutting-edge technologies and innovations in 5G and beyond.
- Deep expertise in RF design and analysis.
- Experience with machine learning applications in wireless communications.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.
