Software Test Engineer - Banking (Loans)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer with a strong background in the banking sector, specifically focusing on loan systems, to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software testing, a deep understanding of banking applications, and experience working with loan management systems. As part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of banking software solutions related to loans and financial services.

Key Accountabilities

• Create test plans/cases for banking applications, particularly loan products.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify and track defects using testing tools.
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer in the banking sector.

• Strong knowledge of banking products, mainly loans.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Experience:

• 4+ years in software testing.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Certification in software testing is a plus (e.g., ISTQB).
