The Purpose of the Role
Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell [insert SBG]. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to develop program cost, schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding of smart cities technologies like IoT sensors, data platforms, AI algorithms, and cloud services based.
- Design, plan, and develop technical and engineering specifications and integration specifications for smart city projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and consultants to execute smart city projects.
- Oversee the integration of different smart city systems, including CCTV, BMS, Access control, etc.
- Familiarity with low current systems and protocols.
- Provide technical support in the delivery of different solutions.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are implemented to protect sensitive data within the smart city infrastructure.
- Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and potential users, to gain buy-in and support.
Job Requirements:
- Deep understanding of IoT technologies, data analytics, network infrastructure, and software development principles.
- Complex and versatile programming knowledge for different languages and hardware uses including HTTP, MQTT, MODBUS, BACNET, etc.
- Familiarity with various smart city applications like IoT systems, intelligent transportation systems, smart grids, public
- safety systems, and citizen engagement platforms.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Advanced degrees or certifications in areas like IoT, data science, or AI are beneficial
