  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all project sites.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, including NEBOSH, OSHA, and local safety standards.
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions for site personnel, including emergency response and accident prevention programs.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety measures are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment on-site.
  • Work effectively in remote areas, managing safety operations for complex pipeline and water infrastructure projects.

المهارات

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH or OSHA certification is required.
  • +3 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role, preferably in pipeline and water projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures, with a focus on industrial and remote site environments.
  • Experience in implementing safety protocols and conducting safety training for onsite personnel.
  • Ability to work in remote areas and manage safety operations for complex projects.
  • Fluent in English.
