What You Will Do:
The Simulator Systems Technician operates the Patriot Organization Maintenance Trainer (POMT) or the Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer (PCOFT) in support of scheduled training. Performs routine and emergency maintenance on the POMT, PCOFT, and the Patriot Intermediate Maintenance Institutional Trainer (PIMIT) to include full system testing and repair / replacement of organizationally maintained items. Monitors the status of facility operations to include lighting, air conditioning, power, and security. Exercises close coordination with instructor personnel to ensure scheduled training is supported and training objectives are met. Advises the Air Defense Forces Institute personnel on the compatibility of the simulator systems to the tactical systems and recommends measures necessary to maintain compatibility. Supports training as directed and allowed under the currently approved TAA. Performs other related duties as directed by the section officer. This position is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must have a minimum of four (4) years' experience in patriot
Experience must include fault isolation and repair using program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests and built-in test equipment (BITE)
Must be proficient in operation, troubleshooting, and modular level repair of the Patriot Organizational Maintenance Trainer (POMT) and the Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer (PCOFT)
Must be skilled in Patriot tactical scenario generation utilizing the Scenario Generation Group (SGG) software and the On-Line Training Mode (OTM) software.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree in engineering or applied science or 6 years of relevant experience, or high school graduate with 8 years of relevant experience.
Must have successfully completed Patriot System Operator/Maintenance Course (14E), conducted by the U.S. Army Air Defense School or equivalent courses of instruction conducted by the Patriot system contractor
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
