Direct and prepare the work team for shipping.
Check specifications, review barcodes and other features.
Supervise and direct the shipping department and provide suggestions to improve team performance.
Monitor available budgets and costs.
Cooperate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to improve operations.
Provide solutions to problems related to shipping orders.
Enforce legal regulations and company policies.
Prepare periodic reports and evaluate performance.
Skills required for the position of Shipping Manager:
Strong knowledge of logistics procedures
