At Veolia Water Technologies, Saudi Arabia, we are committed to empowering our employees, to make their own decisions and to make a real difference.Become a player in ecological transformation by joining us! 🌿🌍Job DescriptionMain tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Order Processing: The Shipping Assistant assists in processing and managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.Documentation: The Assistant helps in preparing and maintaining shipping documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and requirements.Shipment Coordination: The Assistant works closely with the shipping team to coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of goods.Communication: The Assistant communicates with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to coordinate shipment details, resolve any issues, and ensure smooth operations.Tracking and Reporting: The Assistant helps in tracking shipments and updating relevant stakeholders on the status of deliveries. They also assist in preparing shipping reports and maintaining accurate records.Freight Quotations: The Assistant may assist in obtaining freight quotations from various shipping providers, comparing rates, and recommending the most cost-effective options.Compliance and Regulations: The Assistant assists in ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.Process Improvement: The Assistant may suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall shipping operations.QualificationsQualifications: Diploma or BSc in administration / Logistics or relevant field
