Job Purpose
The Senior Specialist, Contract Services I is responsible for developing andimplementing sourcing strategies to optimize theprocurement process and achieve costsavings while ensuring quality and reliability of the supplychain. This roleinvolves analyzing markettrends, identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to meet the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement sourcing strategies and initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs,and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, supplier capabilities, and potential opportunities forcost savings and value creation. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, assess theircapabilities, track record,and performance, andnegotiate terms and conditions to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement teams, business units,and functional departments, to understand theirsourcing needs, requirements, and priorities, and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
Manage supplier relationships and performance, including conducting supplier assessments, evaluations, and audits, resolving issues and disputes, and implementing improvement plans to enhance supplier performance and mitigate risks.
Monitor and trackkey performance indicators (KPls) and metrics, such as costsavings, supplier performance, and contract compliance, and analyze datato identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of the strategic sourcing process.
Lead cross functional teams and projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation in sourcing practices, processes, and technologies, and implement best practices and industry benchmarks to achieve operational excellence and competitive advantage.
Stay updated on industry trends,market dynamics, andregulatory changes affecting sourcing and procurement, and leverage marketintelligence to inform sourcing decisions and strategies.
Provide guidance, Training, and Support to junior sourcing team members and stakeholders on strategic sourcing principles, practices, andtools, and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in sourcing.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners, and represent the organization in supplier negotiations, industry events, and networking forumsto build strategic partnerships and enhancethe organization's reputation and influence in the marketplace.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or relatedfield; master's degreeor professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplychain management, witha proven trackrecord or developing and implementing sourcing strategies and achieving cost savings and operational improvements.
