Responsibilities
· The Senior Security Architect will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the cybersecurity framework across all our projects. The selected person will provide guidance, evaluate and recommend solutions, and ensure that security is integrated at every level of our projects.
· Lead cybersecurity architecture reviews and approvals in project management meetings.
· Perform periodic risk assessments and architecture reviews of both internal and customer networks.
· Facilitate and coordinate additional steps for reviews, including but not limited to, code reviews, penetration tests, and engaging third-party assessments.
· Collaborate with teams across Assurance, Risk, Governance, and Documentation Management, ensuring cybersecurity standards are met.
· Engage in overall security reporting and strategy formulation to protect our organization’s digital assets.
· Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role involves explaining technical solutions to various audience, and requires working collaboratively with various teams across the organization.
Additional Information:
· This position may require occasional travel and after-hours work, including responding to cybersecurity incidents as needed.
· This role is an individual contributor, however, The jobholder will be responsible to lead teams and audit assessments.
· The jobholder will supervise and implement security best practices.
Job Requirements:
Education : Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience :
· At least eight years of relevant experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on architecture and system design.
· Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, architecture reviews, and coordinating penetration tests.
Knowledge:
· Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), SABSA Chartered Security Architect or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) will be highly preferred.
· Familiarity with industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

· Excellent writing skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Deep understanding of IT systems and security infrastructure
· A technically savvy candidate with the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity issues in an understandable manner to various stakeholders.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
