We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior SalesEngineer for New Equipment Business to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.



You will focus on creating customer trust, value and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands selling at its core. We need someone who has the ability to influence, is result driven and has a strong commercial acumen.

What will you do?


  • Proactively develop and create customer relationships in your area of responsibility.


  • Ensures customer satisfaction and solve complaints with the rest of the KONE team.


  • Document and maintain the customer and contact information.


  • Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets including proactively generating opportunities from outside current customer base.


  • Accountable for finding customer needs and KONE’s solution matching with those needs.


  • Responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools.


  • Validate that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcome.


  • Maintain full information of opportunities, tasks and visits, while keeping CRM up to date.


Are you the one?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.


  • 7 to 10 years of experience in engineering role, with working exerience in the elevator and escalator industry.


  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.


  • Team player with strong follow-up and interpersonal skills.


  • Highly motivated and organized.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.


  • Experience with CRM.


  • Knowledge of project management is a plus
