The Senior QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager for the
Logistics team will lead safety and quality compliance efforts across logistics operations within
NEOM. This role requires a seasoned QHSE professional with strong knowledge of NEOM
safety protocols, adept at maintaining the highest safety standards, and working collaboratively
with NEOM’s QHSE teams and project logistics personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Compliance and Protocols
o Ensure strict adherence to NEOM’s safety protocols and regulatory requirements
across all logistics operations.
o Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive QHSE policies aligned with
NEOM’s stringent safety standards, ensuring all logistics personnel follow best
practices.
2. Logistics Park Safety Standards
o Oversee and enhance safety standards within the Logistics Park, including
inspection, maintenance, and improvement of facilities to create a safe working
environment.
o Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards,
enforce compliance, and develop corrective action plans where needed.
3. Liaison and Collaboration
o Act as the primary liaison between the project logistics team and NEOM’s QHSE
department to communicate, enforce, and enhance safety standards across
logistics functions.
o Establish open lines of communication and conduct regular coordination meetings
with NEOM QHSE teams to ensure aligned understanding and implementation of
safety protocols.
4. Incident Management and Reporting
o Lead incident investigations and report findings in alignment with NEOM’s
reporting structure; identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
o Develop and execute emergency response plans specific to logistics operations,
ensuring all teams are prepared to manage safety incidents effectively.
5. Continuous Improvement and Training
o Promote a safety culture within the logistics team by implementing continuous
improvement initiatives, including QHSE awareness training and safety drills.
o Stay updated with emerging safety regulations and best practices, integrating them
into existing QHSE processes and protocols.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Logistics, or related
field; relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly preferred.
10+ years of experience in QHSE management, preferably within logistics or large-scale
industrial projects.
In-depth knowledge of QHSE standards, with experience in safety management within
Middle East regions being advantageous.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage and engage cross-
functional teams effectively.
