To be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Company Waste Management Strategy objectives by managing the execution of specific projects, work plans, feasibility and technical studies etc in line with agreed cost, time and quality parameters.
Knowledge Essential Extensive knowledge of the design / project engineering of waste management assets / facilities (landfill, waste transfer, material sorting, treatment etc) Extensive Knowledge of the project procurement process and associated administration (, i.e. FIDIC, ICE, NEC & IChemE forms of Contract). Good Knowledge of the urban planning and environmental permitting regime. Good Knowledge HSE legislation and requirements (inc CDM Regulations). Extensive knowledge of waste management process engineering

Good mentoring / coaching / teaching skills Good ICT skills including MSOffice, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, AutoCAD packages Experience Essential Minimum of ten years’ experience in a project engineer or project management role within a relevant engineering / waste management discipline Track record of delivery of projects to cost, quality and time parameters in waste management or related engineering field. Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including, clients, contractors, department heads and external regulatory bodies. Project engineering or management of Waste Management Facilities and associated technologies including landfill development, materials recycling facilities, anaerobic digestion, etc). Desirable Experience of working on projects in the GCC or similar
