OverviewMBC is looking for a program manager to oversee new development initiatives for its TV platforms. The Program Manger will create and maintain project plans, evaluate resource availability, anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, recommend tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and champion AGILE project management practices.Key responsibilities and accountabilities Coach cross-functional team members in program and project management best practices. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Guide, lead, escalate and clear impediments blocking progress toward team goals. Identify and manage dependencies, interactions, and deliverables within and across multiple teams. Work with the Project / Delivery Managers to build and scale operational best practices to align multiple teams and individuals with the company's overall objectives and priorities. Ability to undertake, lead and oversee Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management process design, and adherence. Anticipate Operational risks and work out identification, tracking, assessment, and mitigation strategies. Work with business stakeholders and with multiple Tech stakeholders to address business concerns, launch projects, track deliverables to business, and work towards the overall technical, operation, and process stability across tech platforms. Work closely with business planning to undertake detailed cost-benefit-analysis (CBA) for prioritization and reprioritization of projects. Requirements Holder of a degree from a highly reputed University, preferably in Computer Science. 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area. Fluency in AGILE project methodologies is a must. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence. Proven track record of managing large-scale delivery teams. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with software or an online product is highly desired. However, previous experience of delivering Video on Demand / VOD related technology projects would be a distinct advantage. Strong understanding of streaming media and the related technologies such as digital rights management, content delivery networks among others. Strong team player, able to develop strong working relationships and good organizational awareness. Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and communication skills- verbal and written Ability to work independently in a change driven environment.
