Black & Grey HR has partnered with a premier real estate development company in KSA. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Officer who will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services needed for the company’s real estate and construction projects. This role ensures that procurement activities are cost-effective, timely, and aligned with project requirements and company policies. The Procurement Officer works closely with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to maintain supply chain efficiency and support project success.Key Responsibilities:- Identifying and sourcing suppliers, vendors, and contractors for materials and services required for projects.- Obtaining and evaluating quotes, negotiating prices, and finalizing procurement contracts to secure the best terms.- Ensuring all purchases meet quality standards, project specifications, and delivery timelines.- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and consistency.- Conducting vendor evaluations and audits to assess performance, compliance, and suitability.- Resolving supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or payment to maintain smooth operations.- Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.- Maintaining accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.- Preparing and submitting reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.- Monitoring procurement expenditures to ensure alignment with project budgets.- Identifying cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and negotiation.- Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices.- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to understand procurement needs and timelines.- Providing updates on the status of purchase orders and delivery schedules to internal stakeholders.- Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure proper receipt and storage of materials.- Conducting market research to stay updated on pricing, trends, and availability of construction materials.- Identifying and recommending new suppliers or alternative materials to optimize project outcomesRequirements- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and procurement best practices.- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.Benefits- Attractive Salary + Benefits.
