Senior PR Account Director

About the Role:

We are currently working with a leading global PR agency who is seeking an experienced Senior PR Account Director to join their growing team in Riyadh. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished PR professional with a strong background in corporate communications and a passion for driving impactful PR strategies for top-tier clients.

As the Senior PR Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public relations strategy for key clients, managing a talented team, and working closely with both local and global stakeholders to execute high-impact campaigns. This role requires deep expertise in corporate communications, with a focus on reputation management, crisis communications, and media relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple PR accounts, ensuring that all client objectives are met with creativity, strategic insight, and a focus on delivering results.
• Develop and implement tailored corporate communication strategies for clients in a variety of sectors, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
• Oversee crisis communication efforts, providing strategic counsel and managing high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, both regionally and internationally, to enhance media presence and brand positioning.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, goals, and challenges, delivering proactive communication solutions.
• Manage the execution of media campaigns, press releases, media events, and other communication materials.
• Ensure the agency’s work is delivered on time, on budget, and meets the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken), with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in a senior PR or corporate communications role, ideally within a global PR agency or large corporation.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabian media landscape, key influencers, and stakeholders.
• A track record of success in corporate communications, reputation management, and crisis management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to build long-lasting partnerships.
• Strategic thinking with a keen understanding of the client’s business and ability to translate objectives into actionable PR campaigns.
• Experience managing high-level accounts and handling sensitive client matters with discretion.
• Proactive, resourceful, and a natural problem-solver with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
