Position Summary
Our Strategic Advisory team requires an experienced professional to join our team in KSA. The successful candidate will have proven experiences in providing strategic advice based on socio economic and financial feasibilities for large-scale international projects and ideally in KSA, UAE and the wider Middle East region. The role will require identifying and managing key stakeholders (Government and Private entities), lobbying for Government contribution to City Development, Monitoring negotiations between development authorities and external stakeholders. It also includes advocating on behalf of the sponsors and based on business case for government contribution, and intervention with external stakeholders to resolve issues and disputes.
The ideal candidate should be someone who has worked in a government liaison or senior stakeholder management capacity and previously facilitated external stakeholders in urban and spatial plans.

The right candidate will be based in Riyadh but will be required to work across the broader Middle East.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Develop strategic communication and external stakeholder management policies, protocols and plans for management of external stakeholders, in collaboration with Planning and Development authorities.
Drive end to end stakeholder management including planning, identification, engagement, communication and monitoring.
Identify and manage stakeholder interface for key stakeholders working with relationship owners for each stakeholder, to drive development and growth of the new initiatives.
Undertake representation and build and foster relationships with representatives of government entities including Ministers and senior officials, and with the private sector as required. Pursue strategic partnerships and act as the principal point of contact at the senior level with a selected number of other government entities, notably the Ministries and departments of planning and economic development, environment and sustainability, infrastructure and public facilities, land assets, housing, smart cities, and other entities in jointly advancing goals of economic city growth, investment and development.
Provide informed contributions to steering committee and deliberations on matters concerning the Government led contribution to the City growth and external stakeholder concerns and activities.
Monitor negotiations between internal and external stakeholders for projects, governance and reporting
Oversee execution of anchor projects led by external stakeholders and advocate resolution of issues if they arise, on behalf of Atkinsrealis and project sponsors.
Steer project execution to deliver agreed upon service aligned with client expectations.
Project Manage all aspects of time, cost and quality for our consulting projects.
Work together with our technical advisors, engineers, planners, commercial consultants to bring integrated offerings to our clients.
Build strong internal relationships across the AtkinsRéalis business.
Work within both traditional and agile project environments with high degree of ambiguity and a track record of high-quality delivery
Win Work
Assist service line leadership in identifying business development opportunities with current and potential clients.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals to win work and expand the service line.
Identify opportunities for new and integrated services, bringing the best from our global business and technical domains to our clients in the middle east and beyond.
Practice Building & Development
Contribute to positioning our Consulting and strategic advisory services across the Middle East through thought leadership development and social media presence.
Provide guidance, coaching and training to junior staff.
Lead people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining consulting professionals.
Be a champion for ED&I initiatives.
Education and Experience
A postgraduate degree, preferably in international development, economics or a related social science field. A first level university degree in combination with 20 years of qualifying senior level or executive level experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced level university degree.
Clear evidence of at least 15 years+ of substantive experience and results in areas of work relevant to this role. Candidates are expected to have served as either a senior official or in a senior position in Government Liaison or Senior Stakeholder Management role
Substantial people management experience including experience of recruiting and developing high performing and multi-professional teams; of working effectively with diversity; and, of managing and supporting change
Sound program/project management experience in large scale programs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel/Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Share Point, and Outlook
Exposure to specialized project management and analytics software and project reporting tools is preferrable.
