This role will expose you to be responsible for managing the technology landscape and IT operations for Marsh China under MMC organization. This role will report to Marsh Asia IT Director. We will count on you to:



Drive the MMC China Application Strategy and Localization program. Accountable to ensure compliance with China Regulatory & Cybersecurity requirements, including signatory on MLPS certification and other certification & audit requirements. Work closely with local/regional business stakeholders, regional & global Marsh Tech colleagues, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to execute the technology initiatives for China. Establish and maintain programme plans to support communication to senior management. Facilitate the definition of programme scope, goals, and deliverables. Coordinate and prioritise programme tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved on schedule. Manage timelines to meet business requirements and guarantee operational and business readiness. Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached. Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance. Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors. Demonstrate excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

What you need to have:



Proven experience in managing the technology function / IT function of an enterprise organization’s China business. Good understanding of China Regulatory, Data & Cybersecurity Laws & requirements. Have a thorough and broad understanding of technology and how it can be used to solve business problems. Have experience of working in a senior leadership position and in partnering with senior business leaders to define strategies and product roadmaps. Have experience in technology strategy and roadmap planning together with related budgeting. Have excellent stakeholder management and business engagement skills. Ability to communicate across all team members is essential for project success. The ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation. Ability to present effectively to senior business leaders. Have a solid understanding of security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Have a solid understanding of Agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
Experience and knowledge of the Insurance and financial services sectors and their technology solutions.
