About the Project:
Join the FEMCO & Sasel Saudi Consortium in delivering a landmark project Riyadh. This Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out Project plays a critical role in the larger development, aiming to set new standards for infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead our commercial and contractual strategy, ensuring the project’s financial performance aligns with our high standards and goals.


Job Summary

As the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management and financial health of our Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out Project. This includes overseeing contract administration, cost control, procurement, and risk management, with a focus on maximizing the project’s financial success while maintaining compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. You will lead a commercial team, collaborate with stakeholders, and be a key part of strategic decisions on project progress.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Administer and manage all contracts related to the project, ensuring compliance and addressing any contract variations, extensions, or claims.
  • Cost Control: Lead project cost control efforts, develop accurate budgets, and monitor expenditures to meet financial objectives.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts on budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Procurement: Oversee procurement strategies, negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and project managers, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections to senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a commercial team, providing guidance on contract administration, budgeting, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 15 years of experience in commercial management within the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior commercial role on large-scale infrastructure or MEP projects.
  • Certifications: Professional qualifications such as MRICS, CIPS, or Prince2 are highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certification in Project Management or Cost Management is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of FIDIC and other contract frameworks
    • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills
    • Advanced knowledge of commercial risk management practices in construction
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
