Senior BIM Coordinator

Roles and Duties:

As a Senior BIM Coordinator working for a Fit Out and Internal Finishes Contractor, your responsibilities would include:

1. BIM Coordination and Collaboration:

• Lead coordination efforts among architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Organize and chair BIM coordination meetings to discuss model coordination and clash detection issues.
• Foster collaboration and ensure everyone is on the same page regarding BIM goals.

1. Model Management and Quality Control:

• Implement and manage BIM software and tools.
• Provide technical support and training to team members for efficient use of BIM technology.
• Maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

1. Clash Detection and Conflict Resolution:

• Use tools like Revit, Navisworks, and ACC/IM 360 to identify clashes and conflicts.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues promptly.

1. Establishing Standards and Best Practices:

• Adhere to BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ensure team members follow them.
• Monitor adherence to standards, software versions, and model element naming convention.
