Senior Associate, Compliance

Role Purpose and Summary
+ Responsible for supporting the VP, Risk & Compliance in implementing and managing risk management, compliance, and corporate governance frameworks at Vision Invest; conduct research and analysis to identify risks and compliance issues, assist in policy development and implementation, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while promoting a culture of risk awareness and effective governance.
Experience
+ 5-7 years of experience in risk management, compliance and governance roles in leading corporate organizations with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity; Experience of working in KSA / Middle East and in private equity, financial services, or an infrastructure fund is preferred
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
Key Responsibilities: Role Specific Technical Responsibilities

Risk management + Conduct research and analysis on risk landscape issues, challenges, and opportunities and anticipate complex issues, challenges, and opportunities in the risk landscape, contributing to the development of Vision Invest’s risk strategy
+ Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of identified risks and regular risk scenario modelling / planning and extract insights to support business strategy decisions and risk mitigation initiatives
+ Identify and analyse risks, issues, and dependencies in projects, proposing mitigating solutions and escalating concerns as needed
+ Support the implementation of the risk management framework aligned with Vision Invest’s strategic objectives, ensuring that risk-taking activities remain within defined risk appetite
+ Help document and update risk management and control policies and procedures, assisting with their implementation across Vision Invest
+ Assist in implementing risk mitigation plans and strategies, including control measures
+ Support digitization initiatives that enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting for risk management and compliance practices
+ Prepare risk assessment reports for senior management and the board, developing and tracking key risk indicators
+
Compliance management + Assist in assessing Vision Invest’s compliance environment and developing an enterprise-wide compliance framework and program
+ Draft and communicate compliance policies, ensuring they are integrated into daily operations and updated in response to changes in laws and regulations
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance compliance policies, ensuring effective implementation
+ Support teams in creating detailed procedures that align with compliance policies and facilitate adherence to regulatory standards
+ Collaborate with the Digital Transformation team to streamline compliance processes while ensuring data security and privacy
+
Corporate governance + Support the VP, Risk & Compliance in developing, implementing and maintaining corporate governance policies, procedures, and best practices across Vision Invest ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and legal standards
+ Help create and manage processes for ongoing monitoring of governance practices, ensuring that governance standards are consistently applied and identifying any gaps or areas that require attention
