  alfanar Building Systems manufactures and markets a variety of building construction products and systems. .


The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:


   • Ceramic wall and floor tiles


   • Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products


   • Precast concrete products and architectural elements


   • Office & home furniture and interior décor products


Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) section, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.




Key Accountability Areas

Policy Development Implementation 


  • Develops and prepares HSE manual procedures in line with contracts client and legal requirements establishes processes for new activities and issues revisions and controlled copies of the HSE manual as needed

Risk Assessment Compliance 


  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulations


Incident Investigation 


  • Investigates incidents accidents near-miss events and occupational injuries to determine root causes implement preventive measures and manage return to work activities


Record Keeping 


  • Maintain accurate records of workplace incidents inspections and training activities


Collaboration 


  •  Work closely with various departments to establish safety goals and objectives
  •  Be with the outsource auditors and certifying bodies for safety side of the company like the GOSI insurance auditors OSHAS ISO and NEBOSH and other safety procedures plans and implementation in place


Safety Program Evaluation 


  •   Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety and environmental programs
  •   Review HSE documents including incidents and accidents near miss events safety index site assessments risk assessments and weekly and monthly reports 
  •   Propose corrective actions review training reports manage awards and warnings and establish an emergency response system for accidents


Corrective Actions 


  •  Recommend and implement corrective actions to address safety and environmental issues


Regulatory Liaison 


  •  Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting
  •  Perform safety audits and inspect facilities machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and to ensure safety regulation compliance


Emergency Response 


  • Develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills


Safety Culture 


  •  Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization
  •  Suggest latest techniques methodology instrument and supporting tools to meet HSE related challenges 


Periodical Site visits 


  • Carryout out periodical site visits to ensure that all HSE measures are strictly adhered too  implemented 
  •  To monitor and address overall HSE activities at factory and commercial units
  •  Organizing Mock Drills 


Training 


  •  Arrange required internal and external trainings on HSE awareness and related skills programs  
  •  Conduct Induction HSE training to all new employees of the company
  •  Monitors periodically the implementation of HSE management system

  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.
