Overview of the Role


As a Sales Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing operational sales plans on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure the achievement of new vehicle sales targets. You will play a critical role in forecasting, production planning, and aligning sales objectives with overall business goals. Additionally, you will work closely with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and supply chain functions to optimize vehicle availability and sales performance.


What You Will Do


  • Sales Forecasting & Planning: Develop and propose annual and quarterly sales plans, aligning with budget objectives and market trends
  • Production Order Management: Plan vehicle orders by model, grade, and color to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Target Setting & Performance Monitoring: Define monthly sales targets and align them with senior leadership and channel heads
  • Market & Sales Analysis: Prepare market insights and sales performance reports for management review
  • Stock & Order Planning: Develop and present the Sales Stock Order Plan (SSOP), securing approvals for production volumes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment in forecasting, campaigns, and logistics
  • Stock Health Management: Ensure stock movement efficiency, maintaining less than 5% aged stock (180+ days)

Required Skills to Be Successful


  • 5+ years of experience in automotive sales planning
  • Experience with a Chinese automotive brand in KSA is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and demand planning
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and time management skills


About the Team


You will be part of the Product & Planning team at BYD KSA, working closely with the General Manager – Product & Planning. The role requires constant collaboration with internal teams, including Demand & Supply Planning, Central Planning, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Senior Management to drive business success.

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • Proven ability to analyze market conditions and sales trends to create effective sales strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Passion for the automotive industry and vehicle sales optimization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and make data-driven business decisions
  • Proficiency in SAP and data analytics tools
