Job Title:** Junior Salesperson - Canned Food Industry


Job Summary:

The Junior Salesperson will assist in promoting and selling canned food products to retailers, distributors, and other clients within the food industry. The role focuses on supporting the sales team, building relationships with customers, and helping achieve sales targets through effective communication and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support and Business Development:**

  1. Assist the senior sales team in promoting and selling canned food products to wholesalers, retailers, and food service providers.
  2. Help identify potential new clients and support efforts to grow the customer base.
  3. Work towards meeting assigned sales targets through training and support from senior sales staff.


2. Customer Engagement:

  1. Provide excellent service to existing customers by answering product inquiries and resolving minor issues.
  2. Regularly check in with clients to ensure they are satisfied with their orders and product offerings.
  3. Assist in gathering customer feedback and reporting it to the sales manager.


3. Market Research Assistance:

  1. Support the sales team in gathering and organizing data on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  2. Assist in preparing market reports and presenting insights to the team.


4. Sales Process Support:

  1. Assist with sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  2. Help coordinate promotional activities and product placements with the sales and marketing teams.
  3. Provide support in managing sales orders, including tracking deliveries and maintaining stock levels.


5. Product Knowledge:

  1. Learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge about the canned food product range and industry standards.
  2. Participate in training sessions to improve understanding of product features and benefits.
  3. Support retail staff with basic product training as required.


6. Logistics and Coordination:

  1. Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery and timely replenishment of stock to customers.
  2. Help coordinate between clients and the supply chain to ensure product availability.
