As a Sales Engineer, you will drive sales by identifying customer needs, preparing quotes, and managing
contracts. You will interpret sales data to optimize production planning, seek new projects, and forecast
sales. Your role includes maintaining client relationships, ensuring product compliance, and handling
components from SIEMENS, ABB, and GE. Additionally, you will program and maintain controllers and
electronics, aiming to maximize profit margins while providing regular performance reports. Strong
technical skills and professionalism in overcoming challenges are essential.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Compile dealer's sales data, interpret buying cycles, and share results with production to efficiently
plan weekly and monthly production plans
Quote prices, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
Identifies each customer or potential customer’s needs, problems, and expectations to establish a
successful customer-supplier working relationship
Regularly search for new projects in all stages (Design, Tender, Job in hand) for sales targets and
to provide a clear sales forecast for the upcoming years.
Provide regular performance reports for the management
Commute within assigned territory to reach prospective and existing client sites
A strong understanding of all facets of the sales process
Handle rejection and overcome obstacles with tact and professionalism
Maintaining relations and connections with customers to gain trusted relations in the market.
Following up with the production in all stages including the estimation, the design, and the
manufacturing process.
Dealing with all types of LV components from SIEMENS, and the capacitor bank of ABB, and the
bus duct of GE.
Programming and performing maintenance for controllers and electronics devices for ATS, BMS,
and Capacitor banks
Technical study of the switchgear scope in all projects to comply with the specs and achieve a solid
cost control study that increases the profit margin.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Technical Knowledge: Proficient
understanding of LV components and
expertise in programming/maintaining
controllers, ATS, BMS, and Capacitor
banks.
Sales Acumen: Strong grasp of the sales
process, including quoting, contract
management, and forecasting, with the
ability to identify and pursue new
projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
or Electrical Engineering.
Experience ranging from recent graduates to
professionals with up to five years in the field.
