As a Sales Employee at a Jotun Paint Shop, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting the right paint products, and driving sales. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming store environment, managing inventory, and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance.
- Understand customer needs and provide recommendations on paint products, colors, and accessories.
- Answer customer queries regarding product features, applications, and availability.
- Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
- Stay updated on Jotun's product range, including paint types, colors, finishes, and accessories.
- Provide expert advice on paint application techniques and surface preparation.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Ensure that shelves are well-stocked and products are correctly labeled.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Arrange product displays and ensure promotional materials are up-to-date.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer complaints or refer them to the store manager as necessary.
- Work closely with other store employees to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving store goals.
