This role is suited for a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in events or exhibitions, a strong commercial track record, and the ability to drive growth across an established events cluster.
Overview
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for revenue generation across exhibition stands, sponsorships, and branding opportunities. You will oversee a network of sales agents, manage key client relationships, and lead strategic business development efforts across the Saudi construction portfolio. The role requires a commercially driven and collaborative leader fluent in both Arabic and English.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of sales targets across stands, sponsorships, and branding packages.
- Build and manage a high-performing commercial pipeline, maintaining detailed reporting via Salesforce.
- Lead and support a network of international sales agents, ensuring targets are aligned and met.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, partners, and associations to support event development.
- Identify new business opportunities through organic growth and new product development.
- Work closely with marketing, accounts, and operations to maximise event performance.
- Attend relevant exhibitions and events to develop relationships and identify new leads.
- Deliver regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of B2B sales leadership experience in exhibitions, events, or a related commercial function.
- Strong understanding of the construction and design industry is a plus.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven ability to hit and exceed revenue targets while managing a sales team or network.
- Comfortable engaging clients across multiple channels – in person, by phone, and email.
- Highly driven, with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to commercial growth.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and working to KPIs.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required.
