The Sales Development Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in driving lead generation and prospecting activities. This role involves managing the team’s daily operations, providing mentorship, implementing processes, and ensuring alignment with sales goals and strategies. The Sales Development Team Lead will also be hands-on, actively participating in outbound and inbound efforts, and ensuring the success of the team in building a robust sales pipeline.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Drive lead generation and prospecting strategies, ensuring the team targets the right market segments and buyer personas.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales leadership to align on campaigns, lead scoring, and prospecting techniques.
  • Monitor and optimize lead qualification processes to ensure high conversion rates from leads to opportunities.
  • Analyze performance metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of the team’s outreach efforts.
  • Develop and refine the team’s outbound and inbound sales playbooks, including email templates, call scripts, and follow-up cadences.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure lead generation activities are aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Act as the liaison between the SDR team and upper management, keeping leadership informed of progress, challenges, and opportunity.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of SDRs, helping them achieve individual and team goals.
