The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for managing the sales process from lead qualification to closing. AEs build and maintain relationships with prospects, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that drive value for the customer and revenue for the company. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts and prospects.
Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand customer needs and pain points.
Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies.
Deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
Prepare and send proposals, quotes, and contracts.
Negotiate terms and close deals.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer success) to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue.
Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Experience with complex sales cycles and enterprise customers
Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger Sale)
Ability to effectively communicate with decision-makers at various levels
