Safety Inspector (Turnaround/Shutdown) (Saudi Arabia)

A leading Talent Acquisition Company in Saudi Arabia is currently seeking a highly skilled Safety Inspector (Turnaround/Shutdown) to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This position is critical to ensuring the safety and compliance of operations during turnaround and shutdown activities in the Oil & Energy sector. You will be responsible for monitoring operations and identifying potential safety hazards while ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to.

• Conduct safety inspections and audits at turnaround and shutdown sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in planning meetings to provide safety inputs regarding turnaround and shutdown activities.
• They are responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure workers health and safety at site.
• Perform safety Inspection at assigned turnaroud block to identify issues or non-conformity with HSE procedures and advise correcrive actions to eliminate non-conformity .
• Identify and  stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealhy.
• Participate in safety walkthroughs and ensure corrective actions are implemented immediaytely to fix non confirmity observed .
• Participate in incident investigation if requested.
• Advise or instruct and deliver safety talk on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, high temeperature exposition, etc.) to workers.
• Exercise STOP work authority whenever  necessary to ensure safety of workers at site .
• Promote positive safety culture and ensure turnaround HSE milestones are achieved .
• Report to safety supervisor and appraise about safety milestone and major finding and corrective actions taken in his block and ask for any support if required to maintain safety in his assigned block.
