The project:
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

You’ll be responsible for:
Contributes to team performance, driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.
Builds strong professional relationships with Client/Client representative(s).
Provides advice and support to Project team in the administration of the risk process, particularly with respect to the risks to achievement of key objectives and the escalation of risk(s).
Facilitations and delivery of risk workshops.
Works with Project Manager to recognise opportunities and mitigations to minimise risk exposure.
Responsible for supporting the risk management performance on their assigned commission(s).
Effective implementation of risk framework(s)/strategy(s) on assigned commission(s).
Accountable for ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, owners appointed and that project plans are updated and monitored.
Supports the delivery of Project Quantitative Risk Analysis (cost and time).
Delivers monthly risk reports, externally to Client and internally to Project team, contributing on the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle.
Ensures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace Control Centre, Client requirements and prevailing legislation.
Actively engages in the integration of risk with PMO and Planning disciplines.
Supports more junior risk managers and other Project staff as required.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
Relevant university degree (e.g., risk management, engineering) or equivalent.
Chartered (or equivalent) membership of a relevant professional institution, e.g., the Association of Project Managers/Institute of Risk Management.
Experience of effective risk leadership on complex construction projects.
Experience of setting up effective risk management/assurance frameworks/strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge of risk tools, techniques and software (e.g., Active Risk Manager, riskHive, @risk, Primavera Risk Analyser).
Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
Practical knowledge/application and understanding of the opportunities related to risk/data analytics.
Power BI and other reporting suite tools.
Basic knowledge of tools, techniques and software that interface with the risk discipline (e.g., planning tools, Astra, P6, MS Project).
Experience of working client side as well as consultancy.
